Founded in 1921, Soroptimist is an international organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities. Almost 100,000 Soroptimist’s in about 120 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community–based and international projects benefiting women and children. VISION Be the voluntary service organization chosen by all business and professional women committed to improving the lives of women and girls. We will share our time, talents and financial resources to enrich our communities. Together, we will: · improve the lives of women and girls · help women achieve economic and political equality · serve as a global voice for women · provide outstanding leadership development opportunities for women · enhance world peace and understanding

Due to the success of the 2007 Bras For A Cause fund raiser, Soroptimist of North Kitsap was able to donate funds to the Harrison Hospital Foundation as seed money for the planned healing garden in the Oncology Department. |
